My son Brandon is 17 years old. It seems strange to me that it is even possible for him to be at that age but it's my reality. I ask myself often, where did the time go? Each major moment in his life I have cried like a big baby. First day of daycare, kindergarten, middle school, high school, and the MOST scary of all the drivers license. To imagine my young man driving around town almost gave me a heart attach. For two reasons, his safety and the safety of others on the road too. (He's a good driver, don't be concerned)
Although, we must let them grow up, become independent, responsible young men. Today is another one of those proud mama days. Brandon will begin his first job within a few hours. He took it upon himself to apply *for* the job, follow up with the manager at a later date, and during the interview expressed where he was a very responsible guy. He sold himself! Great job Brandon, dude you're AWESOME! (He would kill me if he read this) I wonder if he would get mad if I were to sneak a picture of him working? Yeah, he probably would get upset and embarrassed. God has blessed me with such an AMAZING young man. I love him with all my heart and I am so VERY proud of him each and every day.
